Community Care

Community Gathering Spaces

Spaces of solidarity. Power in community.

The Peace Rebellion Community Gathering Spaces are sanctuaries of connection, healing, and resistance. They exist because identity matters — because the lived experiences of Black, Indigenous, Latine, Asian & Pacific Islander, Queer & Trans, and Disabled Montessorians cannot be erased or folded into neutrality. These groups are where truth is spoken without apology, where community builds strength, and where the work of liberation is carried forward together.

We are currently pausing some community gathering groups due to other obligations. If you would like to join or facilitate, please reach out at info@thepeacerebellion.org.

Spaces Ready to Begin

Global Majority Montessorians

Where the global majority come together to connect, reflect, and act. Open to people across faiths, cultures, and identities ready to imagine peace as justice in motion. We ask that you identify as a person of color.

Queer & Trans Montessorians

A space where LGBTQIA+ educators can exist whole. We resist erasure, disrupt heteronormativity, and affirm that Montessori is for every identity, every body, every love.

Interfaith Montessorians

For Montessorians of all faiths and spiritual traditions committed to building understanding, practicing respect, and actively working toward a culture of peace across lines of belief.

Spaces Seeking Facilitators

Black Montessorians

A space of power, healing, and leadership for Black educators, families, and children. Centering Black brilliance, resisting anti-Blackness, and carrying forward the long tradition of liberation work inside and beyond Montessori.

Indigenous Montessorians

A community honoring sovereignty, language, and land. This space disrupts settler-colonial narratives and uplifts Indigenous ways of knowing.

Latiné Montessorians

Rooted in the richness of culture, migration, and identity. A place for solidarity, affirmation, and the refusal of erasure in schools and society.

Asian & Pacific Islander Montessorians

A collective to confront invisibility and stereotype, honor the vast diversity of Asian and Pacific Islander cultures, and build visibility, solidarity, and power across generations.

MENA: Middle Eastern & North African Montessorians

For people who identify as Middle Eastern or North African to connect, share, and build solidarity. We center belonging, healing, and liberation for Arab, Amazigh, Persian, Kurdish, Coptic, Levantine, and all MENA identities.

Disabled Montessorians

For those navigating ableism while shaping Montessori toward true accessibility and neurodiversity. Inclusion is not optional, and every child and adult deserves an environment where their dignity is non-negotiable.

White Accountability & Anti-Racist Practice

For white-identifying members committed to examining privilege, practicing accountability, and actively working toward dismantling white supremacy culture.

Socioeconomic Justice Montessorians

For Montessorians from working-class or economically marginalized backgrounds committed to challenging classism, uplifting labor dignity, and expanding access to Montessori for all communities.
