Role: Help build our “Resources for Liberation” hub by gathering, reviewing, and summarizing anti-bias, anti-racist, and justice-centered Montessori and education materials.
Impact: Ensures educators, families, and advocates have free access to the best tools for creating equitable learning spaces.
Skills Needed: Research, summarizing, basic writing/editing.
Training Program Equity Partner

Role: Collaborate with The Peace Rebellion to integrate anti-bias/anti-racist modules into Montessori training or professional development programs.
Impact: Ensures future Montessori educators are equipped to lead in liberatory, justice-centered ways.
Ideal Partners: Montessori training centers, professional development providers, equity consultants.
Campaign Mobilizer

Role: Support active campaigns by helping circulate petitions, connect with signers, and organize local Montessori community outreach events.
Impact: Expands reach and influence of campaigns like “Anti-Bias Training for All” and “Funding Public Montessori for the Future.”
Skills Needed: Communication, social media, networking.
Liberatory Leadership Workshop Host

Role: Partner to host small-scale workshops that teach Montessori guides and leaders how to advocate for themselves, organize affinity groups, and navigate employment law.
Impact: Strengthens the resilience and agency of Montessori educators, especially those from marginalized groups.
Ideal Partners: Montessori schools, unions, advocacy groups, education law experts.
Community Gathering Space Facilitator

Role: Support the creation and facilitation of Montessori-focused community gathering spaces that provide safe, identity-affirming spaces for educators, caregivers, and advocates. Guide discussions, coordinate logistics, and ensure groups have access to relevant resources.
Impact: Strengthens community bonds, fosters belonging, and builds networks that can collectively address inequities and support liberatory practices.
Ideal Partners: Experienced facilitators, Montessori educators, DEI practitioners, or community organizers passionate about equity and justice.
Policy & Advocacy Co-liberator

Role: Collaborate with The Peace Rebellion to advance policies that expand liberatory Montessori education. Contribute expertise in legislative strategy, research, and public awareness campaigns.
Impact: Shapes local and national education policy to protect children’s rights, expand equitable access, and dismantle systemic barriers in Montessori and beyond.
Ideal Partners: Advocacy nonprofits, law firms, education policy centers, grassroots coalitions, or research institutions committed to justice-centered education.
